Shape Your Association

How much will you pay in WEA dues each year? What do we advocate for on your behalf?

You don't have to hold office to shape your association. The 2020 Delegate Assembly is members' chance to make your voices heard! Shape WEA's policy and platforms. Review our governance documents and contact your local president to find out who is representing you at the 2020 Delegate Assembly. There are vacant delegate positions available at this time.

Become a Delegate

Each local is eligible for representation by one delegate for every forty members, or the largest portion thereof. Contact your local president to find out about vacancies and eligibility. Delegates are required to go to a briefing prior to the Delegate Assembly. The Northwest region Delegate Assembly briefing takes place on February 29, 2020, in Thermopolis. Central and Northeast region briefings take place on March 7, 2020. The Southeast region briefing will take place on March 21, 2020. The Southwest region briefing date is scheduled for March 21, 2020 in Rock Springs.

Who is my Local President?

What's Decided at DA?

DA encompasses the many important governing documents that lie at the heart of what WEA believes, does and stands for. Delegate assembly is our member representatives' chance to weigh in on the WEA budget (including WEA member dues) platforms, bylaws, and constitution.
